Don’t skimp on the butter, fat is Flavor!!! Thanksgiving Buttered Corn Ingredients • 6-8 ears fresh sweet corn, shucked • 1 pound unsalted Butter • 1 Cup Sugar • Salt and pepper Directions Remove the husk from the corn and you may use a kife to scrape the cob for more juice. Place corn in a saucepot and add the butter and the water to just fill. Cook on the stovetop for10 to 20 minutes very slowly, stopping to turn and stir a couple of times. Be careful not to overcook the corn. Add the sugar If corn seems too dry, add a little cream or water. Season with salt and pepper, to taste.
